Protect Your Social Media Accounts!

Do you know someone who has had their Instagram, Facebook or TikTok account compromised?  It has become common recently so it is important to stay alert! The hackers are sneaky and they will try to befriend you before sending you a link. One click will allow them access to your account and you will be locked out.  If you receive a link from someone you don’t know, or a link that does NOT start with “http://” you should NOT click on it as it could allow a potential hacker to take over your social media account.

Here’s how I was dangerously close to having my Instagram account compromised and how you can avoid it happening to you!

You can also turn on 2-step authentication for PayPal, Email, iCloud, Facebook and more! Stay on your toes and don’t fall prey to these terrible internet hackers. If you’d like to share your experience for others to learn, please do so in the comments!
